Skilled Nursing

Skilled nursing is provided in the Woodbury Health Care Center. This option is for residents who need round-the-clock assistance and medical attention. Skilled nursing is provided by registered professional nurses and includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, social services, medications, supplies, equipment, and other services necessary for the health of our residents.

Services and special features included in skilled nursing:

  • 24/7 skilled nursing care that includes a qualified, professional team consisting of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, registered nursing assistants, and trained medication aides
  • Assistance with all activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, preparing for bed, and escorting to meals and activities
  • On-site licensed social workers that meet individually with each resident to advocate for their social needs
  • Individualized dining program overseen by a dietitian with accommodations for special diets, menu choices and snacks
  • Integrative therapies, which are an array of healing practices that are intended to compliment medical care

  • Support for residents receiving dialysis
