The team members at Woodbury Senior Living are proud of the work they do and the dedication they bring. But don’t take our word for it. Here’s what our residents and their family members have said about us.

In addition, the staff offer hand and foot massages.

This complementary service was not expected but was so wonderful. Really took the edge off my pain.  –Bill, resident

When I first came here I was feeling down, and I listened to the CARE channel for the first day and a half and it helped me so much!! I am very grateful for everything.  –Sharon, resident

I really look forward to the foot massage because it helps with the pain and just the feeling in my body. When I have the massage it gives me a sensation because I’m not up walking and moving. All I can say is it’s something I look forward to.    –Anita, resident

After a Reiki session:  How do you feel?  “Good…I feel less angry.” Spouse later: “I don’t know what you did but he was a different man after that. He was lighter.” –Transitional Care Unit resident & spouse

Messages of gratitude

I do not know how to thank you enough for all the care and love you showed my mom Dora over the past 4 ½ years. I am especially touched by the ways you honored her death. I am sure there are many times when your work with people like my mom is a challenge, but I want you to know that I honor each and every one of you! The service, care, comfort and love you give to your residents is invaluable. What you do each day is priceless.     –Lisa, daughter

Wonderful, professional care was provided for my dad. Physical and occupational therapy did an excellent job. My dad’s strength, balance, and stamina improved greatly.   –family member

We would like to saint Lee Anderson and the care team at Woodbury Estates Senior Living for the incredible work they did to help my father die with dignity. He was a difficult patient, but they served him with kindness, care, and offered dignity to the very end. You also took time to encourage our family. You are all angels. Thank you from the depths of our hearts.  –Lois & Larry, Woodbury. Excerpt from St. Paul Pioneer Press “Sainted & Tainted”

When my dad first arrived he was very skeptical and very uneasy about staying here. He was also very worried and nervous about his mental health and how quickly he was declining. I began to see him relax, and even take some noticeable comfort in being here. You were able to ease my dad’s anxiety and give his final years some much needed peace. –Mike & family

Aunt Katie was on hospice with end-stage dementia. This team of care providers showed a strong compassion and commitment to providing quality memory care. Aunt Katie not only graduated from hospice, she thrived in this environment by participating in 14 activities per week. The love and the support she received from the entire staff were especially noticeable when she began the butterfly program/end-of-life transition. As the family surrounded Katie with love and attention, the staff provided ongoing support and comfort to us all.  A special thank you to Regine, Martha, Jerome, Alex, Sherri, Pastor Basil and Sue.   -Linda & Paul, Woodbury. Everybody is so helpful here. I like the place, I like the people. Even the cleaning people know who you are. And there’s always something going on.   –Sue, resident

That Holly is the greatest aide ever. She’s efficient and takes such good care of my wife. And always does it with a smile on her face. Augustus is great, too. He can get that dining room straightened out in no time. –Ray, husband

I extend to each of you my profound gratitude for the loving care you extended to Bud the past two years. There was never a doubt that he was given the best possible care. Thank you also for the friendship and support you extended to me during my visits. You are a special group of caregivers I will not forget.  With gratitude and kind regards.  –Sally, spouse

I have nothing but love for this place, my father passed away two weeks ago in the Estates, the staff was there with him and stayed with him until family could arrive and say goodbye. The nurse, Brittany, showed empathy and offered hugs of comfort at a heartbreaking time, even though her shift was over, she stayed until we arrived. I am thankful for this place and will always be grateful for this amazing staff and care my parents both received and receive!   –Larry, family member
